Amsterdam Made Café during Amsterdam Maker Festival is a fact!

On August 19th, 20th and 21st the pop up Amsterdam Made Café will be present at the Marineterrein Amsterdam. All snacks, drinks – from juices to chocolate and from french fries to voda – are all made by local Makers from Amsterdam.
During the whole weekend we will host some nice DJs to get the action going. More info on this will be announced shortly!

The café is being organised in partnership with the Amsterdam Maker Festival 19-21 augustus 2016, where visitors can take a look at the making processes from sleepingbags to brand new apps for your phone.

Opening hours are on Friday & Saturday from 1pm – 10pm, on Sunday we’ll probably be finished by 8 pm.

Circular City


During the summer of 2016 Cityscapes Gallery organizes, in collaboration with Marineterrein Amsterdam, an ongoing art program, with exhibitions, installations, lectures and talks. Summer In The City #3: Circular City explores various subjects within the theme of circularity, like: durability – endlessness, shortage – surplus, growth – decline, utopia – dystopia. Works of art and architecture will appear in shifting combinations on different locations on the Marineterrein, aimed to inspire ideas and discussion about ‘the circular city’.

The manifestation started on June 25 with a large group exhibition in the monumental Building 027E. How do artists, architects, designers reflect on the ‘circular city’ of the 21h century?
